How's the snow cover N/C SD now..?

17 years old and out hunting with a friend. We drive down a field road and it ends in a cattail slough. He says the road goes right thru there see it on the other side? So I drive in get about 40 yards and crunch. Hit a boulder about the size of a Honda Goldwing.

Later we were talking to his family friend whose ground we were on . Seems that boulder was placed there because of trespassing. We never admitted to hitting it.

Many years later and I would never even think of driving there.

Funny that you should mention this. I was scouting on Saturday and came across some public land that boarded a cowpath type section road. It looked like someone might have actually driven through the lowland to get to the cowpath on the other side, but without knowing what was in that vegetation (water, mud, and now possibly boulders) and not having a pickup and with the bit of snow we did have, I wasn't risking it. I could have walked it if I wanted, but I didn't need to in order to complete my scouting of the place.
