I had a great time? Rain and more rain, then snow and more snow, ended up with more then a foot. Wet and cold. But, I got birds. How did Y'all do?

I've been out five times so far. Skunked twice (once for waterfowl at a new spot - no birds tending) and once for woodcock (several birds put up but shots were either too far or not safe). On the other outings I got a rooster one one quick outing before work, then a nice mixed bag (4 ducks, rooster, 2 woodcock), then just this morning I got two wood ducks. Most importantly, the dog is working beautifully and we've been having a heluva lot of fun!

Hunting envy
You lucky hunter! All that hunting while I am sitting in Kansas waiting for the pheasant opener two weeks from today. Did hunt the dove opener Sept. 1 so I've been out but not like you have. Have a great season.

We got limits at Aberdeen North on Sat/Sun (27 each day) and also at West River on Monday (20 + some sharptails).
I got a report at the new Stoney Butte Creek camp in Presho that group of 15 got their limits in 20 minutes on Sat and 35 minutes on Sunday. So the spectrum of success is wide.
I have standing corn at my place in south part of states and have no gotten concise reports from their yet.
