I posted a wtb ad for bird launchers. Got a private message from a guy who joined the day before and did his buddy had some to sell,

I did. Lots of replies, many texts. While I can’t guarantee it’s a scam, I’m not sending money and things look very fishy. Pics are from same ad as on eBay, phone reception was bad, some unusual English. Lack at ability to provide pics I asked for that might not be easy to find on the web.
What’s the protocol for this so others don’t get scammed for any amount of money?
