How are spring conditons?

Hopefully you're not experiencing any flooding down your way Copper.

Low areas around here are shot. No good for nesting birds/young chicks. Bad timing. They're saying areas just south of here they really got hit hard. More rain coming today/this evening:(

Seems we're back into the rain spell for now.

Went dog training Saturday morning and saw three roosters-3 rabbits in Iroquois County,Two roosters-6 rabbits in Ford County and 2 rabbits,one rooster and one hen with 6 chicks(about adult quail size) in Livigston.
As far as crops went,low lying areas had alot of standing water in the fields,but higher ground corn was in good shape.The crp grounds looked tall and as thick as a jungle!!!
 
You covered some ground Rock:). Thanks for the update. Glad to hear you saw a broad. On a side note; the broads we typically see throughout Illinois seem to be around 6 to 8 chicks. Too small/few. Hopefully we'll find a solution to increase broad sizes soon.

Weather wise, we have more heavy rain up this way today.:( Enough already. lol
