Housing /Rental for phesant hunters

I've been doing a lot of research (google, this site, emails ,calls) trying to find a place in Hettinger/Mott area as our group looks to leave our normal SD spot and try ND. I talked to the lady at the Mott motel yesterday. She says she's in a mad scramble trying to contact her regulars that rebook because of the season being moved up a week. She said she won't be able to tell me if there is an opening for the week we want for at least two more weeks. I'm somewhat frustrated as I was two years ago when I tried to plan a trip to SW ND.....Good luck!

I have hunted with Gary before as well. What are you getting for a rate now? How is his demeanor with your group?

Did the tailfeather have private land for you to hunt as well? What were the costs per day if you went that route?

They have a list of pay to hunt properties that they give you when you
Book a reservation.There were only 3 places on list one was cannonball
Which are super exspensive.I hunted one place for 100 per day
not bad place, good for one or two hunters.Found another place with lots of birds but was 200 per day .A little pricey.Last year public areas around there were terrible (no cover)
