Hotels that accept dogs

If you don't mind me asking, what info did you find concerning a motel that is dog friendly? I'm hunting the Johnson City, Ulyssis area myself (just me and my lab) starting Friday after Thanksgiving and would appriciate any info you found.

Tom, I called around to several places and they would not accept dogs in their rooms; not even for a 'reasonable' fee. These were mainly the smaller, local hotels in that same area. They stated that the dogs were causing too much clean-up and often damaged the rooms. I guess it's their hotel and they set the rules.

Can any others on here make any suggestions about hotels in Kansas...good, bad, or indifferent?
