Holiday Hunt

Looking forward to bringing several high schools boys up this Christmas break. I introduced 3 of them last year and was successful in getting them each a bird; well, some more than others. Had to extend the trip by a day and a half for the 3rd to get his first. Looking forward to the thick cover, as they have heard the stories from their older bothers or dads that I have introduced to pheasant hunting over the years. Last year was just a primer.

Thank you. I really enjoy getting these youngsters out. I have introduced them to fly fishing the Texas coast for reds, Colorado back country for cutties, waterfowl and the uplands. Their addictions are running deep. It is great satisfaction to teach what I have learned over the many years. And cudos to their parents for letting me haul their kids all over the place.
