Here we go again

After getting off of active duty in the Marines, we moved to Nebraska where I'm from. Now the wife is pushing me to move back to Louisiana. I don't know if I can live without my pheasant hunting.

Best wishes to stay in the Mid-west.

Not going to be easy though, there's a whole bunch of truth in the saying:

"If Mama ain't happy, ain't NOBODY happy."

Upland - I think you are not seeing the real opportunity. Instead of hunting pheasants out your back door, you will have a reason to load up all your buddys and take a road trip for pheasant hunting! Nothing more fun than that!!
Also, I want to thank you for your service!

Pheasants

Buy a winter home down there and go back and forth. Stuff is cheap in LA and you can swing it. Enjoy three seasons up here and pop down there to break up the winter. She will think you are a cool rich dude that owns a winter home, and keep telling her that you will retire down there. Just don't tell her that you are retiring when you're 80. It's a win-win for both of you if you can sell it. Good luck.

Thank you too all
