Help me pick a Citori

That's my Franchi Upland Select 26" 20 gauge pictured above. Sweet, sweet upland shotgun. Like it so much I also bought the synthetic LH model.

But back to the question at hand. I have a 725 Feather 26" in 12 gauge, it's my go-to pheasant shotgun. it's lightweight, shoots great, and one of those shotguns that fits me great right out of the box. If my wife hadn't bought me a Weatherby Orion in 20 gauge, I would have a 725 Feather in 20 gauge too. May get one yet...
How does your “sight picture” differ from the franchi to the 725?

Tell us about the Orion.

OK, not to hijack the thread so I'll keep it short.

My Orion is the 28" gloss furniture model (if I had known Toni was thinking of getting me one I would have strongly hinted I would like the 26" matte furniture model, but I'm not about to look a gift O/U in the mouth). It is a box lock with auto ejectors, chrome bores, and mechanical trigger ( features not usually found on other "lower end" O/U's). Stock LOP is 14.50", so I senr it off to Ahlman's in Morris Mn and had them shorten it to 14". It weighs 6 lbs, maybe a couple ounces more because of the 28" barrels. The wood is very nice walnut. It shoots great. Out here Scheels and Runnings have them for under $900. I've been shooting trap and hunting with it since last year, and have no complaints. I consider it the best O/U available under $1000.

The stock dimensions are very similar, as such I don't have any issues shooting either. They both have 14.25" LOP and are one of the few 14.25" LOP shotguns that I can shoot well. I much prefer 14"-13.75" LOP. Franchi makes an Affinity wood stock recoil pad that shortens the LOP to 14", but they haven't had it in stock for months. They did have one for my LH synthetic Affinity 20 gauge, and it's LOP is 14" on the button.
