Hello from Wisconsin.
I've hunted everything for most of my life, or tagged along when I was too young.
I started pheasant @10 years ago and for some reason I just recently in July I adopted my first bird dog. I am an avid waterfowl guy and just decided I'm getting too old to be chasing my ducks. Also my daughter(8 on Friday) prefers looking for pheasant vs sitting in the boat blind.

Start em early. I do bring her tablet to the blind. Even though I'm not a fan. I set her in my block bags with a heater. She gets 5-10 minutes on the tablet then 15 hunting.
As long as it fun and comfortable at first, it'll last a lifetime. She's been coming with me since she was 3, today she turned 8.
