Hello, Mike here. I’ve been an avid bird hunter since my teens (45 now). With my longbow and wood arrows, I’ve taken every game bird Michigan has to offer (pheasant, grouse, Turkey, duck and goose)...except a woodcock, although I have taken one with a shotgun.
Wanting to introduce my boy (14 & 12) to the wonderful world bird hunting with shotguns, so I took them on a trip to SD last month, and they are hooked. Just this past weekend, we brought home a 7 week old GSP that we have full intentions of training together to help us out along the journey.
