Hello,

Stumbled across this site a few times and occasionally come here and browse the discussions, figured I may as well join and participate.

Pheasant hunting is by far my favorite. Id give up white tail and turkey right now for the rest of my life if I had to just to keep pheasant hunting. However I don't get out as much as I wish I could. This year we will make it back out to Iowa for the first time since 08. Myself my dad and his best friend used to go every year along with my grandfather and his dad. Its just the 3 of us now but we are finally going to get back out there with our new lab just over a year old. should be interesting.

Look forward to being apart of the site and talking about some good ol bird hunting.
 
Yes, welcome (and from another Hoosier). My family and I have been going to Iowa since the late seventies. Hunting in that state has really changed over the years. However, you can still find birds and the relationships my family has built keep us going back even when the birds are hard to come by. You will always learn something from this site even if you have been hunting a long time.
