Hello everyone!

I have been reading this site for a few weeks and decided to register. I am from KY and love bird hunting. I have bird hunted off and on for about 20 yrs.

Had a really good dog that died. That kinda made me lose interest for a while so I got out of it. Now I have a nice 15 month old GSP that I'm training. I've never been out west on a hunt and am wanting to go to Kansas.

I talked my brother in law into getting himself a dog so we are wanting to take our two dogs and ourselves on a hunt. We don't know anything about Kansas or what to expect, so I may ask a lot of questions.:)

Welcome to the site. Come on out to the great and hospitable state of Kansas, my home place on the Great Plains. Go to the KDWP website for details about licenses, seasons, the walk-in program (WIHA), and more.

Welcome to the site. These Kansas guys can point you in some good directions and the website BritChaser gave you will provide the rest. Enjoy.

Thanks. I'm reading and learning all I can. Trying to work up the nerve to drive halfway across the country with no sure place to hunt.
