A buddy of mine and I are heading east out of Colorados San Luis Valley in order to hunt SW Kansas for the pheasant / quail opener. I haven’t been back to the area since '05 (been spending my road trip funds the last 4 years in South Dakota) and would like to get back to the 4-5 hour verse 13 straight hour drive. Anyone heading down that way that would like to join forces with two hunters and an older, but still raring to go, Labrador? Might have some private land to hunt lined up but more likely will be hunting public parcels and knocking on doors.
