Took a couple of days off from work and heading East tomorrow early. We will be working hard to find some birds.
 
Went out yesterday with a buddy and my dog. Hit my favorite field early and did not raise a single bird. Hit a few other public areas but only popped some hens. Drove by private and saw a ton of birds. Went to the land where I have private access and all of the birds flew 100 yards beyond our guns. Decided to head home as I was feeling like crap. 520 miles of driving and no birds. Such is late season pheasant hunting.
