Well, our plan is to leave tonight about 9 and hope to be there about daylight. My wife and I both came down with a nice stomach virus yesterday, several folks in the area had it, and I hope to be over it by that time. I have a school board meeting, city council meeting and the high school girls basketball Christmas party tonight here at our house before I leave, so it will be tight, but there is not a slow time around our house.
I have done my research, got some idea where we are going on some walk in, but we are very open in our approach. Will probably be somewhere from Edwards County to Rook County and farther west and then a little turkey hunting near Hutchinson. Hope we will find a few pheasants, a few quail and a few rabbits as well as turkeys around Hutch.
