Heading to Norton and points west mid week. Any suggestions on places to stay/eat? Looking forward to a great trip with my GSP and Brit.

Anyone wanting to meet, I will be checking the messages before I leave on Tues.

Jim, I have stayed at the Hillcrest on the west side of Norton. It is pretty old, but a lot of hunters stay there. Dogs are not a problem there.

There is a new hotel there on 36, close to the stop light. And a couple of older ones as well. I have never stayed at any of those.

I don't remember the name of the place we ate. Its on the highway heading south out of town on the west side of the road. Name started with an "S".

Brooks Motel in Norton. Right on 36 Hwy. Pretty decent food at the restaurant (can't remember the name) on the south end of town right on Hwy 283.
