hays area for lodging

Hi,well we just decided on the area south of Hays and I-70 for a december hunt,now it's time to find lodging(dog friendly motel or cabin),any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks again

Depending on how far south from Hays you're hunting, Great Bend might be another town to consider for lodging. I always stay at the Angus Inn (Best Western) - clean rooms with decent fridge/freezer (nice to get cleaned birds hard frozen for transport), dog friendly, and a very nice bird cleaning setup in a garage.
