hatch

I saw a couple hatches a few weeks ago and the chicks were half to 2/3 grown.
 
talked to farmers around the farm we hunt and said they have seen very few quail in Northeast Kansas. this time last year they were seeing them on a regular basis not this year they said.:(

Not near as much quail action around here this year as there was last year. I was feeling fairly optimistic toward the end of last season b/c it was the best quail season I'd seen in a few years.....not so optimistic at this point:(
