Hardcores wanted

How many do you want? What are you hunting? And who's paying?
Snows and specs and cranes..it takes a fair amount of cash, and it's work.the hotel is cheap, but guys need their own room.its usually a deal where I hunted Solo, but 4 guys could do it,or more.its spectacular at times

From what I have heard there are big changes in hunting pressure and rumors of placing limits on hunters
Might want to check out the blogs on refuge forums
Good idea. Goose and duck hunting in Canada, is sort of like pheasant hunting in South Dakota. Saskatchewan is a Mecca for waterfowl hunting. Canadians are really good people, and they like people from the United States to come and hunt.

The town I go to is only 100 mi into Saskatchewan. Very small town, cool old hotel. I wonder if it's still open?

I would be watching what happens with tariffs before planning a trip there. I was up there when the cattle was banned because of mad cow disease. There were farmers and ranchers refusing to let us hunt just because of the ban. We did get permission to hunted every day but it was a lot harder. If them farmers get hit with 25 percent tariff on wheat, peas and canola it will be tough to get permission. I hunted up there from 2000 to 2019 haven't been back since covid. I've hunted areas from Kindersley to LLoydminster.

The first time I hunted in Saskatchewan, was in the mid-1990s, and I went probably 300 mi up into Saskatchewan from the border. I stayed in a little tiny town, in a little hotel where they would allow my yellow lab inside. I hunted snow geese, and upland game, white fronted geese. I had a great time, I think I was there for 12 days. It was spectacular hunting at times, the people were very friendly, and it was easy to get permission.
