Thought I would share some pictures I took of me and my father doing some habitat work this weekend! We focused our efforts on reestablishing some of the shelter belt areas we previously created!

It's a lot of hard work but worth the effort.The limiting factor as far as pheasants are concerned in Pa.is NESTING COVER.This area is lucky enough to have some nesting cover,so we were working on some shelter belts to help with winter survival.This type of habitat work also benefits Woodcock,Grouse and Rabbits.Pheasants Forever is so much more than just pheasants!
While doing the work we heard several Roosters crowing,they were being answered by a couple of ornery Tom Turkeys...music to our ears!
