REPEAT BREEDING OF TWO VERY SPECIAL HUNTING DOGS!!!

4XGMPR HRCH CLOUDS BOLD BEAR OF NEREUS SH X HR CHELSEA SNOW ANGEL JH

PUPS READY TO TAKE HOME END OF NOV – 1ST WEEK OF DEC

Bear and Chelsea are two of the finest upland and waterfowl hunting dogs you will ever see! Bear is the 32nd 4X GMPR in history and he is a very serious hunting dog (55 pheasant hunts and many waterfowl hunts in last 3 years)!! Chelsea is extensively hunted on pheasant and waterfowl!

Chelsea was the Wyoming State Jr Pheasant Hunting Champion in the flushing division three years ago and took 2nd place in the 2011 Colorado State BDC Pheasant Hunting Championship (out of over 40 dogs) in the flushing division!!! Bear’s performance finding, pointing and retrieving birds was good enough for 1st or 2nd in the true pointing division of the same contest (against over 30 true pointers!)…but he was let down by his owners shooting performance, as he missed one of the 4 birds!!

Bear and Chelsea are great looking lighter colored yellow labs and all the pups in the first litter were very light and gorgeous pups!! (See picture of pups from the first litter below).

Bear and Chelsea are both very smart, trainable and willing dogs and that trait did come through in their first litter. Breeder trained two of the pups for their owners and found them to be very easy to train!

Bear’s specialty is pointing and, although, Chelsea has pointing blood, she is primarily a fantastic flusher. The pups could be either, but for sure, they will have tons of hunt drive, like both mom and dad! Nearly all Bear pups have showed the pointing instinct at 8 to 10 weeks!

Both Bear and Chelsea have super dispositions at home, but also have uncommon drive and energy to hunt both upland and waterfowl!!
Here are some links to videos of Bear both pheasant and goose hunting:

At 4 years old the summer of 2011, Bear achieved his 4X-Grand Master Pointing Retriever title and HRCH (Hunting Retriever Champion - Finished Retriever) title… to add to the AKC SH title that he achieved a year earlier.
Chelsea has her HR (Hunting Retriever) title in the UKC and JH (Junior Hunter) title in the AKC.

Bear is clear on EIC, CNM, PRA and RD/OSD and has excellent hips and normal CERF, elbows and heart! Chelsea is CNM and PRA Clear and has good hips and elbows and normal CERF.

If you are interested in a great hunting lab, you would be very, very happy with a pup from this litter!!

Price = $950, $200 Deposit will hold your pup.

I actually just own the sire, Bear.

Kevin, of KBKennelspointinglabs.com owns the Dam and the litter.

I am not sure if there are any pups left, but I will check with Kevin and let you know here.

Also, if you or your friend wanted to call him, his number is (970) 213-5758.

The current litter is with Chelsea, but, we also bred Bear to another yellow master pointing lab female named Chloe and that litter is due in early December. Kevin can tell you about that litter too.

I went out to Kevin's today and there are two people still trying to make their final selection out of the 3 males that have not been picked yet, so, there is one male pick left.

Bob

Bob thanks for the info. I think my buddy is going to get one of the pups. If not from this litter, then from another litter they have due in a few weeks. It looks like they'll be hunting machines.

Take care,

Chad

Excellent Chad!

I think your buddy will be very happy with a pup from either litter!

I did a lot of testing of the last 3 males that are unpicked (one available) over the past two days and it is really hard to pick one over another. They are all very birdy and persistent in their interest of the wing and a chukar.

If he just wants a strong hunting dog and doesn't care about point vs flush, this litter will be perfect. The probability of getting a pointer is higher than a flusher, because 3 out of 4 grandparents were pointers, but (as mentioned in the ad) Chelsea, the mom, is so bird driven and was (accidentally) allowed to catch too many birds as a pup, that she, eventually, stopped pointing and became an awesome flusher (again, runner up 2011 CO State Pheasant Championship - Flushing Division). She did point as a young pup though, and, it is possible that all pups in this litter will point. The males have all been showing point so far, to varying degrees. Normally, with Bear pups, the females will start pointing first, with the males a week or two behind, but, in this litter, the males started showing point first. Yesterday, however, the light bulb did turn on for several females, as they really started locking up hard too.

If your buddy is more interested in a higher probability of having, not just a great hunting dog, but a great pointing dog too, the Decemeber 20th litter with Chloe would be a great choice. Chloe is a 1.5XGMPR and breedings between two multiple-time grandmasters are pretty rare. Usually, the male has high titles and the female just has the certified pointer title. Chloe, however, is going to likely become a 4X Grand Master next spring just like Bear (already is).

Here is a link to the Bear X Chloe ad I just made yesterday, in case your buddy wants to check that one out too:

http://www.gundogsonline.com/hunting-dogs-for-sale/puppies/67009.html

To be sure, both litters will be uncommonly good hunting dogs and a guy may get a great pointing dog out of either litter, Chloe's pups just have nearly no option for not pointing, because of so many pointing dogs upstream in the pedigree. Because of Chole's higher titles, her pups will likely be a bit more expensive (a couple hundred more, I would guess), but that's the breeder's (Kevin Eskam - KBKennelspointinglabs.com) call.

If your buddy ever has any questions about Bear, please pass my number on to him and he can give me a call anytime.

Take Care,

Bob
