Great Bend area

Hi, I am new to this board. I really like the Kansas section since I live in south central Kansas. Three of us went to the Great Bend area on Thursday and hunted walk-in. We saw a ton of birds on private land. It seemed like they knew which properties were posted no hunting! That's where they all were. We did see a couple on walk-in that got up about 300 yards away. The birds were very jumpy.

hey by the way are there still a ton of geese in the area near quivira and cheyenne bottoms?

Yes, we saw many, many geese in the fields on the drive home between Great Bend and Ellinwood.

now is that mostly canadas or snows? or mix?

They were mostly Canada.
