Gives a pretty good overview of the problems pheasant population in Iowa has faced and reasons why, covers all angles pretty well, including farm policies and CRP, weather, crop prices, etc.
One of the most interesting parts was about an Iowa wildlife biologist who developed a model based upon snowfall and spring rains to determine the pheasant pop. for the following year.
