Saturday is the first day of the youth pheasant season. Good luck if you're going out tomorrow. The weather looks to be nice which is a change from the past two years.

I'll be helping out with a cast and blast event at the local club for six youth hunters.
 
The McSherrystown Fish and Game had six hunters take part in today's hunt. We also had a few other kids show up to fish at the club pond in the morning. When the hunters were not in the fields, they were able to fish in the pond. It was a beautiful day to be outside and all the kids had a great time. Everybody had chances at birds and the dogs did great. I ran two dogs at a time and each got to go through the fields twice.

That looks like a fun day great photos. For the first year we had no one to take so we went duck hunting in the north zone and got a couple woodys..
