I'm a golfer! I was at the local club today dropping things off. Saw a 4-man group out there enjoying the 70* day. I put my clubs up annually in early November and break out the shotguns! Kind of wish I had more time yesterday to join them.
December golf is always a bonus in Kansas, and fun to talk about years later when on the same day the ground is covered in snow or -10°.

I've played golf in central Indiana in every month of the year. Christmas, New Years Day.... You name it.

I used to play but never claimed to be a golfer, but more of a hacker.

I typically play about 20 rounds a summer.....some days the swing is on, some days it's OFF!
Did stick a hole in one on about a 135 yard Par 3 two years ago at the course I play alot here around home.

I enjoy it for the self vs course competition.

I've gotten down to a 4 index at one point in my late 30s. Got down to 6.5 this summer until ballooning up to 8.2. I'm usually around an 8-10 handicap. 3 holes in one in my life but none since 2017 Nearly had one this fall at Sand Valley in WI. Clipped the flag and ended up 10" directly behind the hole.
