Glutton for Punishment

I guess the poor results from the few hunts I went on this season were not punishment enough because I just booked a room for the last two days of the season.

I'm planning to hunt the last day of season too BC. If it weren't for a prior commitment Saturday, I'd head west and hunt both days. You know as well or better than I do that next season is all too long a wait! I'm be willing to bet neither of us will regret our decision.

Good luck to ya:cheers:

I say go all you can. We are 7 months of long nights to get to some opening day! At 58, I don't think procrastination is a virtue!

Just got back from a 2 1/2 days. Had fun and did get a few roosters, all older birds. The land owner closed the season on quail, found a two nice coveys and good dog work on the singles. Good luck and have a good time.

I'm doing it too, and I'm bringing my 12 and 14 year old sons with me. I haven't picked a town yet, but we're headed somewhere along the I-70 corridor on Firday evening and we'll hunt Saturday. We'll only hunt Saturday though; the 14 year old has a commitment on Sunday morning.
