Getting a chance on some wild birds

I was goose hunting this past weekend in a local cornfield.. About 3/4 of the corn was down.. Didn't get much luck with the geese, but my farmer buddy was combineing the corn as we were finishing up. He called me and said he had atleast 5 roosters and a few hens flush out of the corn... So I took a look around the field and it had a decent fence row with a few low spots with good cover.. So I will be hitting the field tomorrow with the chance on getting my first wild birds in quite sometime!!

What area?

I was in Iroquois Co. a week ago on Sat. That was the day it was blowing about 40mph and warm. Hit two spots that we didn't put up a single bird and only saw roosts at one spot. That was E. Iroquois very close to Indiana.

Went to W. part of the country to ditch we have always had good luck on and put up 16 birds and one coyote (the 2nd we'd seen that day).

Didn't shoot any but good to see birds.
