Blue River I'M Dan's Boy, AKA "Odie" is now only one point from his FC title with yesterdays placement. A very tough 44 dog trial. I was very pleased with his performance. Just one more placement kid,LOL.:thumbsup: So close but yet so far it feels like.:D You know that feeling when you can see something so close but yet you just cant touch it with your finger tips,LOL. Next few runs will be nerve racking.
 
Awesome! It is really hard for me to remain calm when a title is on the line! And the damn dogs seem to feed off that nervous energy.....

We have a few tries this spring yet, then a few this fall. His odds say he should be fine, but ya never know. He is 5 so there is a few years yet too. But it is definitely weighing on my mind now. It was a nice turn out. 89 dogs with the AM and open yesterday and today. Bird finders were left in the end. Scenting was horrible. I watched many dogs that just could not find a bird in the 3rd and were pulled. Bitter sweet to watch Odie blow out two in a few minutes to finish with big nose. That cemented his placement. Now I wish I would have ran him in the Open solely, since he has Amateur ribbons too,LOL. 20 all age points now.
