Garmin Pro 550+ mapping

Alright guys… how in the heck do you use the Explorer app to only see how far the dog has gone? Mine is giving mileage for the entire trip and I can’t figure out how to isolate the hunt. I see the map and the track, but I am on the struggle bus with just seeing how far I and the dog have gone.

Hopefully someone else will chime in here too but the only way I’ve found to keep track of the dogs distance is to not open the app until I start the hunt. Otherwise it will include the drive distance too. That seems to work for the dogs distance but still wants to include the drive distance for the human no matter what I do.

Thanks for the input. I may have figured out some of it yesterday. I left the collar and transmitter off until I reached my training destination. I fired them up in the truck and opened the app. I also created a new Activity.

I'm a little late to the party. I had the same issue. What I have found to work is to shut the handheld off when driving and back on when you take off again. As long as you remember it works ok....
