I’ve gotten exceptionally lucky with new Browning wood, buying blind and have gotten really good sticks. The worst one I have is a vintage 90s superlight. But yes, normally they are lackluster at best.

I know I ain't good looking either but... I looked at about a 100 new shotguns today and only about 6 look good.
