This gun is a fine example of tried and true whitetail/hog/bear rifles. Made in 1950 with very nice blue, smooth action, nice trigger, and a pristine bore with Ballard style rifling in a twenty inch barrel with half magazine.
Stock has a few minor scuffs, but no checks, cracks, or splits. Someone did put an aftermarket red pad on it but the stock was not cut. An original Marlin black plastic plate could be screwed right on if wanted.
These make excellent hard hitting, light recoil rifles for medium size game with an easy range of 200yds without excessive hold over. I would add that it is NOT drilled and tapped for a scope, but is drilled and tapped for a Lyman/Williams type receiver sight.
Asking $475 plus shipping to your FFL in the lower 48.
Any questions pm me here or call 870-584-9990
Thanks,
BobM
