Headed to SD week after Thanksgiving, Going to hit National Grassland of Fort Peirreon way out, very large area anyone got any thoughts on what area a guy might put up a chicken or 2?
Just about anywhere on the grasslands have chickens. Going to be tough getting them pointed and flushed within range that late. Can be done though.
Drive into areas you can and then walk as far in as you’re able to. The further into the grasslands the better. I mean find a big plot and go to the back of it. Everyone hunts around there trucks and the birds are waaaaay back in there.
It’s a great place and fun to hunt whether you kill anything or not.
