If you are in SW ND with the cold and wind - you need to get into multi-layer shelter belts and/or willow thickets.
Creek bottoms, river bottoms, and belts are where most birds will be.
Private land farmsteads with belts and hay yards will harbor birds too (probably most of the birds if there is snow on the ground).
Flasher is not much different than other areas along Hwy 21.
