I was fortunate enough to get drawn into a special muzzleloader hunt in Ellsworth County Kansas. He was taken at 8:05 am on Oct 2nd. Had everything in my favor, a 30 mph wind in my face and a few hills and lots of grass to hide in. I followed a smaller 6pt that led me to the big daddy. The last 75 yards of the stalk was on my belly in the grass which led to a 50 yard kneeling shot. What an awesome experience!! He weighed 200 lbs field dressed.
