first place to look for pheasants in the morning

Going out hunting in the morning, was wondering where i should start at, corn field edge, grass, etc. Just kinds wondering..
 
I agree and if there is a heavy dew they don't like to move until it dries some. When it is chilly a heavy dew will make you miserable walking in it too!
 
. . . but if it's dry and mild, they will sometimes fly to feed before sunrise.
