Finally got into more than one covey of quail today. Had to go to my "go to" late season spot to find some. I hit 3 small areas that always hold quail. The dog moved 3 nice sized coveys with the largest around 30 birds. He bumped all 3 coveys. I assume because of scenting conditions so I never fired a shot at them. He did lock down one single that got shot at.
No birds in the bag doesn't really matter though. It was nice seeing some quail. :cheers:
