As a not so svelt 275, I have always battled with socks and hunting boots. Not the boot mind you, but the sock. So, I was watching TV and saw a commercial for support hose which got me to wondering...hmmm...that might work. So I'm in Amarillo last Friday and go by the local Support Hose, Inc. store and visit with the experts. They measure my foot, my ankle, and my calves. Hand me an athletic sock and say try it. I bought the pair along with a black dress sock and a kakhi dress sock. NOT CHEAP by the way.
Took the plunge Saturday morning and put the athletic sock on. Immediatley felt the compression on my calves as these socks go to the knee...WOW, I'm hooked. These are the best thing ever. My feet and legs felt great when I rolled back in. I highly recommned them. Here is what I bought:
