I am new to this world. I just signed up my vizsla 10 months old. She hunts pretty good for her age. Any pointers on how I should approach her testing?

Nahvda na test is really laid back, not difficult in my opinion. Variable is young dogs have bad moments that can effect score. The UT test is more intense, find some guys in your chapter to see how far you want to go. Good place to meet like minded people!

Navda is a good organization. I used to be good friends with a guy who was the Director/ president. His name was Tim Foist. Anyone on here remember him? I don't remember what they called the position. I trained some dogs for it but never went to a test. I was young, married with a little girl and broke!! I was 20 when I got my 1st wire. I like the idea of testing against a standard and not against other dogs. I think the natural ability test tells you more about dogs/breeds than the UT. Don't get all tore up about scores, just have some fun.
