Federal lands close due to shutdown

And the House just passed a bill 407-0 this morning to give the federal workers back pay when this is over. What the F___!! Pay them not to work? Then why furlough them in the first place. Still going to cost us the same amount of money. Our government is so broken and screwed up I don't know if there is a fix.

I need a Federal Job! Just shaking my head. I will not vote by mail anymore, I will stand in line for 10 hours if it takes that long. Furious is an understatement!

A driver was stuck in a traffic jam on the highway outside Washington , DC .
Nothing was moving. Suddenly, a man knocks on the window.The driver rolls down the window and asks, "What's going on?" "Terrorists have kidnapped the entire US Congress, and they're asking for a $100 million dollar ransom. Otherwise, they are going to douse them all in gasoline and set them on fire. We are going from car to car, collecting donations."

"How much is everyone giving, on an average?" the driver asks.

The man replies, "About a gallon."
