Fairbury area?

I'm in Colorado, have a neighbor with some family land near Fairbury, NE. I've never been in that area, he describes the land as primarily milo, with some CRP. He's said I'm welcome to hunt it if I want to make the trip.

Can anyone provide some intel as to the pheasant population in the Fairbury area? Worthwhile to make the 8 hour drive from Colorado?

Many thanks!

Don't waste your time, birds are way down in that area due to two bad winters in a row and cold, wet springs. If you are coming from Colorado, SW Nebraska or NW Ks would be a much smarter move

Thank you, Sir! Got the same feedback from the fella who heads up the PF chapter for that area. We're meant to have a good year here in CO, so I reckon I'll stick closer to home. Much appreciated!
