Eye drainage

I took Mojo out this Sunday and got him on a few birds, yesterday I noticed he had a lot of drainage from one eye, I figured he just got poked or irritated, and I took a closer look but couldn't see anything in his eye or anything, so I thought I'd just let it be and it'd be fine. Tonight it is still draining, so I thought id post. Nothing to worry about? Should I flush it with something?

I would be paying a visit to my vet. Probably nothing serious now but why let it fester. When my dogs have some eye issues I use an Ophthalmic Ointment called Neo-Poly-Bac. Works good on a number of eye issues but only obtainable by prescription. You might see if you vet would give you the ointment without a vet visit.
 
Well, turns out it was just irritated, the vet basically told me if the drainage is generally clear, it isn't an issue, if the drainage has a color to it - yellow or green - it is worth taking a look at.

an $85 lesson, but better safe than sorry
