English Springer Spaniel Puppies - PHX, AZ - AKC

Looking for a bird dog? The 2 best Males of our litter are available and have been waiting just for you.

I've refrained from selling them to general public hoping to place them with people who will hunt with them and in so doing, truly give them the best lives they can hope for as Springers. Of course, this means they're both pets who get a lot of love and attention and also will get to enjoy being hunting dogs (so not relegated to a crate/kennel until its time to go bag some birds).

Healthy litter of 7 was Born 4/20/24. Up to date. AKC registrable. The two available have been the two stand-outs, demonstrating higher IQs and eagerness to please/work/compete than their littermates. Both have taken to basic training well so far as springers usually do. They are already retrieving instinctively and using the dog door to do their business outside. They have learned sit (i say hup) and recall commands (i've used the ACME ultrasonic dog whistle and/or the ever popular "smacking/kissing" sound). Very food motivated. Training will be a breeze just as it was for their dad who has incredible instincts. Their mom, who although has been more of a challenge to train, is one of the smartest dogs most remarkable dogs I've had and has a nose and determination matched by few.

One who I've named Remmy (Remington) was the largest at birth and first to escape the whelping box. He is very keen to stay by my side always looking for direction. I'd consider him the most trainable and intelligent of the litter.

The other, Cammo, was not far behind him and has been the fearless competitor who will make a great hunting dog especially for quail where you want a dog that will run all day and never tire. Both have been vying for Alpha. These dogs are simply too good for just the Average Joe as they wouldnt even appreciate what amazing dogs they are. For anyone who might do AKC competition, these guys have champion potential with the right trainers and are from a champion line.

If you're interested in one of them let me know. Check out the (link>) Youtube Video (<link) to see them playing around with mom and dad.

Puppies all found homes and are doing great. Cammo thankfully went home with a friend of a friend who has been "very impressed" with the pup's instincts, trainability, eagerness to please, intelligence… and courage. Unfortunately, the puppy was too brave and only a month after leaving us the puppy was with his owner out on the lake going to get some fishing in and keep the boat running smoothly… The pup decided he wanted to see what the water was all about and jumped off the front of the boat as they were cruising along… Shutting the motor off immediately wasnt able to keep the dog from getting struck by the prop as it was still turning as one would expect. He jumped in and pulled the poor thing out and did cpr on the puppy while he and his wife rushed back to the dock and to the nearest animal hospital. After more than a few thousand dollars and a lot of tears and stress, thank god the little tyke made it out of surgery with some pretty gnarly scars, some meds for pain, a cast, a cone, and doctors orders to keep him crated for a while … He was very quick to recover fully and was hunting with his dad come quail season, only a few months after the incident.. Puppy is still fearless and loves swimming.. So very glad he made it and I'm glad I chose to place him with his new dad.. Not everyone would be able or willing to spend $6 grand to keep a new puppy alive following such an accident.. I know my old man would have said "Hell no Im not paying that much for any vet to do surgery on a dog… I could buy a litter of puppies for that price" .. which is what he does and did with my first dog who bounced out of the truck while scouting for elk when I was away in college. Poor boy broke his spine and vet said 4k and its a maybe… So he carried him out on a mountain and chose the lead instead of $200 to euthenize at the vets office.. I didnt get the call until after it was all over the following week.. Still brings a tear to my eye thinkin about ol' Cooper.. We always had family springers but that was my dog and my birthday gift in 4th grade… we had two others already at the time. Not entirely sure why I've shared these stories here with anyone (probably no one) who happens to read this… but why the hell not I suppose.. who knows, it might be one of the only things that will be discoverable long into the future after we are all long gone … my clay pottery or obsidian arrowhead so to speak…

Anyway, figured I oughtta at least close out this listing since those pups sold a week after the initial post.. albeit almost a year later… and in the event anyone is interested we have our second litter due in a little over just two weeks from now, May 6 2025. Already have people on the waiting list but if she has 7 more like before or more, theres still time to see about getting on our list and still have a chance to welcome one of our pups into your pack this fall.

You can have a look at our facebook or YouTube. Im currently building the new website but it should be up and running pretty soon. Located in Phoenix, AZ. Feel free to reach out to learn more via any of the multiple platforms available..
