Prairie Drifter Pearl whelped five female and four male black and white and tricolored English Setter Pups on April 10, 2011. Both the sire and dam come directly from the prestigious Grouse Ridge Kennel. The sire, Mesquite Ridge Kosmo is out of Ch. The Insider (Ch. Private Ryan X Blew By You) and Grouse Ridge Paris (Ch. Grid Iron X Ch. Grouse Ridge Maxima). The dam, Prairie Drifter Pearl is out of Ch. Grouse Ridge Reroy (Grouse Ridge Leroy X Swift Run Lace) and Grouse Ridge Jugs (Blue Bell Slugger X Grouse Ridge Juddi). Both sire and dam are exceptional gundogs at established kennels in Kansas and Oklahoma. Females are $500, Males $450. Call:Troy Smith (620)532-5900.

Were you on the hustler mowing the ditch yesterday?

I am "home" recovering from a prostatectomy, but still on the run a little bit. Had to meet a guy at Pratt yesterday, but ended up having to go to Kingman, so when I went by your place was behind schedule and, of course, know that it would be impossible to stop and say "hi" in five minutes, so another day. Byron Walker looks good from the road.

While I was down for surgery, my computer went to the shop, but I returned before it did. Twenty days without a computer and the internet, I still have the shakes.:)

Sorry to hear you've been sick. Hope you're past the worst of it! No, that was Dave on the mower. I was stuck to the desk doing bills and other mind grinding blah! Got out today and cut trees to restore a fence line where our new entrance will be when the highway goes 4 lane. Yes, these are very nice pups, thanks. They're fighting for stalls at the milk barn as we speak. We've done a lot of cedar removal work in the past year on the area. I'm hoping that a contractor comes in and chips them. Save me driving over them for the next 10 years. One about killed me in a fire last summer. We sure need rain though. You get some into the state, after you squeeze all you can out of it, send it this way and I'll put a twist on it:)

It's been awhile since I've added to this post. I do still have pups available. They'll be 5 weeks old Monday. Eveyone is getting their spots in. They are really building personalities and getting active. Going to be hard to pick.
