Elk meat hunt

Hi All,

Just got back from a week of chasing big bull elk with my bow. I got totally skunked, most likely due to the warm weather. The big guys just weren't talking. I had a great time, though, and the scenery was awesome.

Anyway, anyone have any suggestion on getting a cheap cow tag just so I can put some elk meat in the freezer? Not looking for a "hunting" experience, I just want an easy-to-get cow for the freezer.
