My PC has been down for a couple of weeks so I wasn't able to post any photos from our trip. We hunted the 8th - 12th. We ended up two short of 30 and had a good time. The winds kicked up the last two days and made it much tougher. The bird numbers seem to be about what they were last year, didn't see a lot of birds on the road or near fence lines. I think this was mainly do to the amount of corn that was still standing. It was coming out fast and furious while we were out there.

Heading back out on the 7th of Dec, hoping the snow stays away from the central part of the state!!

Great report thanks for sharing, what part of SD. We saw monster bucks nw of redfield.
 
Jackrabbit- I'm thinking 14? Those brow tines look like they could do some damage!!

Miforester- We were SW of Redfield by an hour
 
Is there a doe directly behind it, or under it? or does it have 2 noses? ;)
