Dream Season German Wirehaired Pointer Puppies

Puppies are located near Mitchell, South Dakota!! The heart of pheasant country but my German Wirehairs hunt all seasons from doves to ducks/geese to the ringnecks!!

Nice looking pups. Ever think about running your dogs in some NSTRA trials? Or if you don't mind hunting the GWP's with Brittanys let me know and we can try to meet someplace for a hunt.
 
River was invited to the NAVHDA Nationals last year but we could not make it. I don't mind running dog combinations. I will be guiding from pheasant opener until the end of November. Keep it in mind for December if you want to get together. Otherwise there's always waterfowl!!

You probably are not familiar wtih NSTRA (National Shoot-to-Retrieve Field Trail Association) www.nstra.org The Mid-North Region is Minnesota and North & South Dakota. The closest trials are by Oakes, ND about 60 miles NE of Aberdeen. The Oakes trials are in the spring. We are having one in Glencoe, MN the middle of September. NSTRA is for pointing breeds only and is probably closer to real hunting than any other field trial. We've talked about trying to get more South Dakota people involved. If you ever have any interest let me know, I'll be happy to give you some guidance.

I might also keep December in mind for a pheasant hunt. I'm moving in September from Aberdeen to Watertown and will need to find some new pheasant hunting ground.
 
Ya, I'm not too familiar with NSTRA but it seems like a good thing. I will give it some thought. Too bad there aren't more trials closer to central SD. Let me know about December. I will be done guiding by then and will have more than enough land to hunt on a Saturday.
 
All pups are SOLD! Expecting a litter this Fall from our other superb female hunter! These pups will have great noses and excellent drive!
