JUST got in doves where flying well?? my hitting worse LOL! 12 birds for 50 shots !!! NOT GOOD!!!
If you hang around dove shooters, you'll hear stories about killing 12 doves with 16 shots. I've shot lots of doves with lots of good shooters, and I can tell you that 12 birds/box is mighty fine shooting which few can do.
One bird/4 shells isn't all that bad. Many can't do that well.
If someone claims 12 birds with 15-20 shots, either he's fibbing or he's shooting them off wires.

Thankyou for the pick me up on the shooting!! My only defence is i was shootong a newer gun&that for some reason birds that are slowing down (which these where) about to land in a roost tree are hard shots for me. i want to slow my gun down,a hard crosser is easier in fact many birds were shot w/second barrel of my sxs as they started to go faster. Well in any event that is why its fun!! keep shootings boys!!!!
