Hey, hey, there......where the heck is the dove capital of KS? IS it NC KS? C KS or W KS?

I'll be in NC KS by the milo or sunflowers in a couple of weeks.....hopefully sunflowers.

Dove hunting around here is usually pretty slow for me, but I'm going for a bit if it isn't raining.

Sat in the truck and watched it rain. Did hear a couple coveys of quail whistling at daybreak during the lulls in the rain though.
 
dodged enough drops to shoot a little.Hopefully,this moves out by this pm. Saw plenty of birds,just to wet.
 
We had a break in the rain and rain out to check a few things in the field and saw this:

No rain here, should be a wonderful day/evening to hunt. My hired hand will probably take a few. I, on the other hand, may not. My wife tore her meniscus, so I am nursing.
