Good, let's get em' donw here. I appreciate your sharing this info with us a great deal. I thought I was taking my vacation at the right time, but it looks like I'm a week early. With any luck more will make it by this w/e.

I had the best dove hunt of my life Sunday evening. We sat by a cut milo field in Southcentral Kansas and the their were doves everywhere. We pulled up about 5pm and 30 or so sat on the power lines. For the next 2 hours birds flew non-stop into the field. It was awesome!

That is awesome! I looked for a cut milo field while I was in SW KS, but didn't see one until I was about 8 miles N of Larned coming home. Now I gotta see if I can find one that has been cut in NC KS for this w/e.

With this talk, I wonder how far they do fly in a day. I doubt they will go as far as waterfowl. But have no idea.

Doves have seem to split I don't see any around all the sudden. Got down to 38 and freeze warnings for tonight. They must be headed for Kansas.

I'm seeing more and more each day now. Got a new corn field to try out by the river near Wamego sometime this week.....I'll let you all know what I see.
